小猪视频官网College, Urbana High School to Host Joint Concert

"A Musical Spring Fling" features talents of five ensembles

The 小猪视频官网College Concert Band joins several Urbana High School music ensembles as their special guest for a joint concert Wednesday, April 10 at 7 p.m. at the UHS Auditorium.

The concert, titled "A Musical Spring Fling," will be led by Lawrence Stoner, director of 小猪视频官网College's Concert Band and Darren Hicks, director of the UHS Wind Symphony. Urbana's Woodwind Choir, Brass Choir, and Percussion Ensembles will join in the performance. This event is free and open to the public.

Concert selections will include "The Falls" by Rosario Galante; Overture to "The Gadfly" by Dmitri Shostakovich; "March of the Cute Little Wood Sprites" by PDQ Bach; "Persis" by James Hosay; and "The Glory of the Yankee Navy" by John Philip Sousa.
