Office 365 is available to all employees and students who have an active СÖíÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍøemail account. It includes Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Sharepoint, Teams, OneDrive, and more.


СÖíÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍøStudent, Faculty, and Staff email in Office 365.


Parkland’s online learning management system provides students and faculty access to course related information.


An interactive web application enabling students, faculty, and staff to interact with their individual information. Students can access their schedule, grades, financial aid and much more.


LinkedIn Learning is an online learning resource that offers a wide variety of training in business, software, technology, and creative skills to achieve personal and professional goals.


25Live is the web-based event request, room scheduling, and calendaring/publishing system used at Parkland.


Your ParklandOne account allows you to manage your password for mulitple systems including: My.parkland, Cobra, Office 365, Email, Wi-Fi and more.


Colleague is a fully integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) system used by faculty and staff for student, financial, human resource, and payroll processes throughout the college

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is a collaboration tool part of the Office 365 Suite. This tool provides facilities for communicating, sharing documents, online meeting spaces, and a way to aggregate services needed for teamwork.

Telecommuting & VPN

To accommodate employees who may need to work from home, Campus Technologies has made various resources available.

Virtual Private Network (VPN)

VPN is a way to securely connect to the СÖíÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍønetwork when not on campus.  It enables faculty and staff access to information stored on the network as if they were on campus.

Use VPN when accessing:

  • Colleague
  • Network Drives (N:, H:)
  • Remote Desktop

VPN is not necessary when accessing:

  • Office 365
  • My.Parkland.edu
  • Colleague Self-Service
  • Cobra Learning


Telephone

When telecommuting, it may be helpful to forward your phone to another number or to check your voicemail remotely.

Loanable Technology

Campus Technologies and the СÖíÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍøLibrary have collaborated to make a variety of technological devices such as Laptops, Chromebooks, iPads, Mifis, Scientific Calculators, Kindle eReaders, GoPro Camera, Video Cameras, and LCD Projectors available to be checked out at the library by students, faculty, and staff.

Students: Bring your СÖíÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍøID and photo ID and stop by the Main Desk in the Library and sign a loanable technology agreement form. The check-out period varies by device. Currently, laptops and Chromebooks can be borrowed by students through the entirety of online only teaching period. If checking out a laptop, you will be required to log in to it before leaving the library.

Faculty and Staff: Bring your СÖíÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍøID and stop by the Main Desk in the Library. If checking out a laptop, you will need to login before leaving campus. If non-standard software is needed on a borrowed laptop, you will need to contact Tech Service Desk for support.

Remote Support

СÖíÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍøRemote Support is a utility that Campus Technologies offers in order to provide remote support. The PRS utility allows a technician at СÖíÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍøCollege to remotely support your PC or Mac.

KnowledgeBase

The is being used as a repository for technology related documentation and IT standards for employees and students. The KnowledgeBase empowers end users to easily locate information for themselves online and provides step by step instructions and how-to guides on a wide variety of СÖíÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍørelated IT topics. The KB is ever expanding and we are constantly adding documents to it as time permits.
