A backstage comedy in the madcap tradition of听Noises Off,听Moon Over Buffalo听centers on George and Charlotte Hay, fading stars of the 1950s. At the moment, they鈥檙e playing听Private Lives听补苍诲听Cyrano De Bergerac听in rep in Buffalo, NY. On the brink of a disastrous split-up caused by George鈥檚 dalliance with a young ing茅nue, they receive word that they might just have one last shot at stardom: Frank Capra, director of听It鈥檚 a Wonderful Life, is coming to town to see their matinee; if he likes what he sees, he might cast them in his movie remake of听The Scarlet Pimpernel. Unfortunately for George and Charlotte, everything that could go wrong does, both on stage and off. Hilarious complications ensue, including visits from their daughter, her clueless fianc茅, and Charlotte鈥檚 mother, who hates every bone in George鈥檚 body. A perfect comedy confection for lovers of theatre and old Hollywood!
